Stainless steel reactor is the main reaction vessel in industrial production. There may be some failures in long-term use. Whether it is a housing perforation or a leaking seal, it affects production safety. Let’s take a closer look at common troubleshooting methods below.
1. Shell damage: The shell damage of the stainless steel reactor mainly includes shell corrosion, shell cracks and shell through holes. These failures are caused by media corrosion, thermal stress and wear. Corrosion-resistant materials can be used to damage the housing. If the enclosure is patched or welded, the stress should be relieved and cracks repaired after welding. If the shell exceeds the lower limit of the allowable thickness, the valve body should be replaced in time.
2. Seal leakage: Seal leakage mainly includes packing seal problems and mechanical seal problems. For example, the stirring shaft at the packing is worn or corroded, resulting in excessive clearance; the size of the seal ring is incorrect, the pressing force is insufficient, and the sealing performance is lost. According to different seal leakage, the treatment method is also different. It is mainly to replace or repair the stirring shaft in time, process it on the machine tool, ensure the roughness, compress the packing or replace the packing; the selection and installation of the sealing ring should be reasonable to ensure sufficient pressure;
3. The noise is mainly caused by the following reasons: the stirrer rubs the stainless steel reactor thermometer tube and other accessories or scrapes the wall, the stirrer is bent or the bearing is damaged, the stirrer is loose, the lining is protruding, and it collides with the stirrer. In order to solve the problem of noise in the pot, it should be repaired and corrected in time, the distance between the mixer and the accessories in the pot should be increased, the bolts should be tightened, and the protruding parts should be repaired. If the lining is thick, replace the lining. Protruding, if the bearing is damaged, repair or replace.
If the stainless steel reaction kettle fails, the user can first troubleshoot by himself, and then deal with various failure phenomena accordingly.
